Your impact
As a Software Asset Management Analyst at OpenText, you will be a key player in managing the entire lifecycle of software license purchases. Working closely with clients and external software vendors, you will ensure that the best options are identified and implemented. Your responsibilities will include liaising with requestors, obtaining quotes, coordinating with finance and commercial teams, providing software and licenses, managing annual renewals, maintaining the software asset register, and conducting compliance reviews. Your work will ensure our clients receive optimal software solutions while maintaining compliance and maximizing value.

What you need to succeed
- Skills and Experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn new skills quickly and work effectively under pressure, making rational decisions while considering relevant risks. - Service Management: Background in Service Management capabilities and experience with Service Management toolsets. Experience in supporting Software Asset Management in renewals, purchases, audits, and software consultancy is a plus.
- Collaboration: Experience working with personnel in multiple locations and virtually.
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must already hold high level Security Clearance and maintain it..
- Desirable Qualifications: ITIL V3/4 foundation or equivalent experience in a Service Management environment and experience working in an Asset Management team.
