The Role
As a Payroll Adminstrator you will be a vital team member working within the UK Shared Services team. You will support managing and delivering payroll for nearly 6000 employees on a monthly basis. In addition, you will be answering any payroll related queries from employees providing excellent customer service at all times. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Provide 1st line payroll support (via phone, email, and drop-in visits into the Helpdesk)
- Administer the payroll for the four different payrolls
- Process all payroll files in accordance with the payroll schedule and payroll cut-offs
- Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations, organisational policies, procedures and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with all HMRC and payroll policies, procedures and work instructions
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week where you will work on a hybrid basis, you will working on site two days per week and the rest from home.
Experience of the Payroll Administrator:
- Demonstrable experience working within a Payroll position
- In depth knowledge within Tax Codes, National Insurance and Statuary Sick Pay
- High level of Customer Service
- Excel Skills – V lookups, Pivot tables etc
Qualifications of the Payroll Administrator:
- CIPP or any other payroll qualifications are desirable
