ILS Consultant

We are looking for Senior ILS Consultants to join our Supportability Engineering Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team, who are working on sharing innovative solutions or manufacturing bespoke engineering systems.
The Role
The supportability engineering team work as part of our consultancy department who deliver services in partnership with national government bodies, international institutions and global prime contractors on enterprise transformation, feasibility analysis, systems engineering and programme delivery and support.
We are looking for someone who has experience of providing support / assurance to Defence Projects that are reliant upon the MOD Joint Support Chain, including:
- Ranging and Scaling of the appropriate spares including optimised Initial Provisioning and Reprovisioning recommendations
- Oversight of Supply Support Information, including that required for NATO Codification and optimised Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation
To deliver the Senior ILS Consultant role you will preferably have a background in defence. Within this role, you will be leading the development of key aspects of the Support Solution within Defence Projects. You will be able to call on mentoring support from the ILS Principal, and once established will be expected to provide support to Consultants and Junior Consultants.
About You
The right applicant for this role will be a Logistician, Engineer or from an ILS background, with relevant sector experience ideally working in or supporting projects within the defence sector. You must have experience in providing ILS client support on multiple projects, or providing specialist support to the team on larger defence projects. You will have had experience of applying defence standards to the acquisition or in service support of military capability. In order to deliver this role you need proven stakeholder and relationship management skills.
