To support this important work, CTPSE’s ICT Team are involved in a range of technical tasks from every day user support to the discovery and development of new bespoke specialist solutions for trailblazing technologies in policing.

The ICT Support Officer is responsible for resolving or coordinating timely responses to IT issues, thereby ensuring connectivity of technical systems and services is maintained across the unit.  You will also help identify common trends and issues to enable areas for investigation by engineers, act as point of contact for some technical facilities and support IT colleagues with day to day functions.

You can find more information about security vetting here. Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.
