About the role


Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to expand our teams as a result of our growth. We have opportunities for Engineering Managers to join us across multiple locations.
As the engineering Manager you will lead the planning and management of multi discipline projects involving the management, coordination and integration of multi discipline tasks.
You will lead the engineering team to deliver technical solutions to budget, targets, and estimating the engineering scope for Projects from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). The management responsibilities include the identification and development of strategic capabilities (people, processes, methods and tools) to meet project and task objectives.
The role must be fully aware of and adhere to Health & Safety standards and be fully familiar with all authorised documentation, Good Practice Guides and ISO standards.
 

What do I need to do the role?


 You will have;
• Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience
• Chartered Engineer status
• Demonstrable management experience, including experience in managing multi-discipline teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines

 

We would also like you to have;

• Membership of relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience and capable of registration with the Engineering Council
• Experience in managing engineering scope for Projects from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
 
What else do I need to know?


• Cavendish Nuclear is an international services company and travel may be required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
• This role will require travel to Devonport royal dockyard and occasional travel to Faslane Naval base.
