The Role:
As a Business Analyst within CACI Information Intelligence Group (IIG) you will bridge the gap between the Software Engineering team and the Customer. You will spend time working with each customer closely to understand their challenges fully. With the support of the Engineering team, you will be able to translate these issues into specific objectives to allow us to deliver the project to the high quality that our customers have come to expect from us.
The Business Analyst role consists of a wide range of responsibilities, the list below gives a flavour of some of the tasks you may be asked to undertake;
- Building relationships with clients in order to understand their business challenges and how we can help to deliver a solution to solve these issues
- Prioritise key objectives to understand the importance of features and advise customers where appropriate
- Support an existing product to ensure customers are aware of how to use our applications –this may be through Webinar’s, face-to-face training, creation of YouTube content or updating online help materials
- From your technical background, you will understand elements of Software Engineering and AGILE methodology in order to translate those objectives into clear technical requirements with the support of the Engineering team
- Identify where problems are best solved by technology or process changes and support the customer in implementing changes
- Support the development of new products for the customer
